George Adamson in Kenya, Albert Schweitzer at his jungle hospital in
Lambarene, Lady Arabella De La Warr at her home in Sussex. His
discreet and unobtrusive way of working endeared him to all his
subjects - the famous, the glamorous and the saintly.
